I kept coming across this stool around the internet and just couldn't get it out of my head. Back in Sept 09 is when we first met on a fabulous blog called Chinoiserie Chic. To my surprise it was reasonably priced and from JCPenny's Cindy Crawford Home collection. There were some other fabulous similiarly designed stools in that post but this one was by far the most affortable. (click here for the full post)

When I finally realized that I was not going to get this stool out of my head I clicked on over to the JCP website. And to my delight it was on sale for $100 (and still is might I add) Go check it out for yourself here.

Of course, my next thought was...if I was going to do this there was no way that I could leave the white cushion that it came with! So over to the Calico Corners website I went. After a little bit of searching I found this lovely lady and ordered me some. Kalah in Blue, also available in a fun color called Spice.

Here's the finished product. The perfect place to stop and put on your shoes before you head out for the day. Stay tuned to meet her new friend "Umbrella Stand!"
