As a kid I would covet paint chips and flooring catalogs from the hardware store more than my Barbies. Choosing wall colors for my doll house took months. When I landed my first job out of college at Martha Stewart Living I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Now fast forward a few... years and I'm not really sure what my next steps in life are to be.
I'm no authority on design but I love the way a pretty room, a beautiful piece of furniture, a glossy magazine in my mailbox and a fresh coat of nail polish brings me back to those coveted paint chips of my childhood. This is me trying to find my way back to that feeling.

So here I am sharing all that I (mel) find lovely in this world.
